Garnishment laws on SSD /SSI?
I am on SSD and SSI and I got sued and could not make the court date due to being in a bad car crash, well I called and told the Lawyer about this, and he told me not to worry about it and he would not take it to court due to this, well I found out later he did, well they just put a garnishment on my founds in my bank, I filed the right paper work and I got a letter from them saying that not valid and do not meet the requirements of MCR 3.101(K) my only income is SSD and SSI , and as soon as I found out about my money was being held I filed the paper work with the courts to stop this, so now I am behind on my bills and if I lose this money witch is all I have, I could lose my home car, what are they saying (not valid and do not meet the requirements of MCR 3.101(K) what dose this mean?
